OOTD: Running errands , picking mangoes

It’s mango 🥭 season! 😋😋😋😋

Personally I can’t have too many or else my stomach revolts and I kick myself out of ketosis but I still love me some mango.

I didn’t post last week and on Sunday because I LITERALLY pulled my lower back muscles bending down too fast while attempting to tie my shoes.

I am fully aware that sounds like a made up excuse for how I might’ve actually hurt my back doing some weird sex thing but

1.) We don’t kink shame and

2.) That’s the literal truth. 😩

So forgive me for missing a couple posts last week. I actually wanted to shoot a bunch of outfits but was only able to shoot one before my back started hurting so much I couldn’t move. 🥴

(It’s this look on my IG.)

But noooooowwwww, my back is back!

Spent last Monday running errands in this lewk 👀:

  • T-shirt from the Phenomenal Woman campaign

  • Shorts used to be slacks that belonged to my dad Which I had tailored and added a LACE trim to the bottom

  • Shoes are flatform espadrilles from SM Store in Guam

  • and the earrings are from Romwe.com

I also tied a handkerchief in my hair to see if this is a new vibe for me and I think it is.

My digital perm has grown out so I am saving to get it redone and until then, I’ve got to get creative with hair styles.

Tie a ribbon or handkerchief around your top knot for a lazy but femme, soft look. Also tack on some tassel earrings and nipple tassels too if you want. I won’t judge.

For errands in 98-degree weather, I think this outfit held up quite nicely. Here’s me picking mangoes!

I’m pooped! Getting older is weird because your body is good for like 30ish years then it starts to fall apart and you’re just supposed to be ok 👌🏾 kewl thanks body.

Moral of the story? Treat your back good. The next time someone tells you to “Put your back into it,” tell them to fuck off. Back health is very important. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

Cheers!
